Incident summary - Day shift Monday 9th July

8th July 2018

INCIDENT SUMMARY DAY SHIFT MONDAY 9TH JULY 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 PANNAL ASH ROAD, HARROGATE Time of call:  0854

Crews from Harrogate extinguished a small scrubland fire using one hose reel jet.

 NEAR BOLTON ABBEY, SKIPTON Time of call:  0946

Crews from Skipton and Grassington attended a single vehicle road traffic collision.  One person was extricated from the vehicle by fire crews.  Casualty was treated at scene by paramedics for minor injuries.

 MIDDLETON ON LEVEN, STOKESLEY Time of call:  0948

Crews from Northallerton and Cleveland Fire Service attended a small fire in the open.  This was extinguished using one hose reel.

KILDWICK, NR KEIGHLEY Time of call:  1017

Crews from Grassington and West Yorkshire Fire Service attended a report of fire in the open.  This resulted in controlled burning with the occupiers in attendance.

ASKHAM BOGS Time of call:  1349

Crews from Acomb, Tadcaster and Malton attended a pony that was stuck in 4 foot of muddy water.  The pony was released unharmed by the crews using manpower.

SEAMER HILL, STOKESLEY Time of call: 1619 

Crews from Stokesley and Cleveland Fire Service attended a fire in a field of straw.   Fire was extinguished using one hose reel.
