A19, Escrick

Time of call:17:45

Crews from York and Acomb were called to a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision with one person trapped. On our arrival there was no longer anyone trapped and the crews assisted with basic first aid and making the vehicles safe.

Westwood, Scarborough

Time of call: 19:31

A crew from Scarborough were called to a small fire in the open. This fire was out on arrival. Crews used a bucket of water to ensure the fie was extinguished.

woodland, Hawes to Thwaite

Time of call :20:37

A crew from Hawes were called to a fire in the open. This was controlled burning which was out on arrival of the Fire Brigade and no assistance was needed.

Weeton

Time of call: 20:40

Crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough were called to a fire in a barn. The fire was to four square metres of waste straw. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish.

Ripon

Time of call: 21:07

A crew from Ripon were called to assist ambulance crews with transferring a casualty to the ambulance.

Water End, York

Time of call: 21:21

A crew from Acomb were called to a grass fire measuring approximately 2 metres by 5 metres. The crew used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish this.

Danum Drive, York

A crew from York were called to a fire in the open.

Cloughton Bank

Time of call: 21:29

Crews were called to a fire in the woods. This was a fire to 50 square metres of trees and shrub land. Crews used back pack sprayers, fire beaters and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

Oxford Street, Harrogate

Time of call: 22:14

A passer by called to report a fire alarm sounding in a commercial property. A crew from Harrogate attended the property and found it to be a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

Roxby, Whitby

Time of call: 22:31

A crew from Lythe were called to a road traffic collision. One vehicle was leaking fuel.

Gilling West

Time of call: 22:33

A crew from Richmond were called to an automatic fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm.

Aske

Time of call: 23:25

A crew from Richmond were called to a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm due to dust in the detector head.

Belmont Road, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate were called to an automatic fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm.

Kirby Misperton

Time of call: 01:54

Crews from Pickering and Malton were called to a road traffic collision with a person trapped. The person was out on our arrival and had sustained multiple injuries. Firecrews used a ladder to bridge a trench in the field to get to the injured driver, a male aged 20 years. The crews assisted with administering first aid until the ambulance arrived which then took the injured male to York district hospital.

Blossom Street, York

Time of call: 05:07

A crew from York were called to a fire alarm sounding in a non-residential premises. This was believed to be a false alarm as the crews were unable to access the building due to the keyholder travelling from afar. External inspection of building conducted.
