Incident Summary 1st March Night Shift

18:07 Kilbrun

A crew attended a chimney fire which was out on their arrival. They carried out an inspection only. The cause is believed to be an accumulation of soot.

19:10 Simonstone, Hawes

A crew attened a chimney fire believed to have been caused by an accumulation of soot. They used latter, hose reel, thermal imaging camera, fall arrest gear and a hearth kit to extinguish the fire.

19:15 Harrogate- false alarm due to cooking fumes

19:54 Malton- false alarm due to accidental activation of call point

21:38 Scarborough- false alarm good intent- controlled burning

22:08 York- fasle alarm cooking fumes

23:03 Selby

A crew attended an incident where a person had become locked out of their first floor flat. The crew used a triple extension ladder to gain access through a window.

06:48 Haxby, York

A crew attended a fire to a flatbed tipper. The fire was out on crews arrival. They made the vehicle safe only. The cause is believed to be an electrical fault.
