A crew assisted to move a person from a chair into a bed

08:46 Scarborough- false alarm- faulty detector

10:18 Scarborough

A crew attended a small fire in the open which involved controlled burning of household waste in a garden. The fire was producing large amounts of smoke in the area so crews extinguished the fire and gave advice to the owner.

11:15 Scarborough- false alarm

13:39 Mill Lane, Tadcaster

Crews attended an incident where a car had crashed into the front of a supermarket and some bollards. Crews moved the vehicle to a safer location and disconnected the battery.

15:43 Scarborough- false alarm- cooking fumes

16:18 Westbourne Grove, Scarborough

Crews attended an incident where a steam mop had been left on top of a cooker. This had caused fire damage to the mop. The fire was out on the arrival of crews and the mop had been taken out of the property. Crews ventilated the property and fitted smoke alarms.
