A crew from Ripon and an officer atended a reported vehicle fire. This turned out to be smoke from am oil leak caused by a blown turbo. The crew monitored the temperature of the engine and used drizzit pads to prevent leaking oil from entering drains.

13:31 Valley Road, Northallerton

Two crews from Northallerton attended an electricual fire caused by a faulty heating system controller in a commerical property. The fire was out on the arrival of crews who carried out an investigation, isolated the electrics and advised for an electrician to attend

16:15 Scarborough police station

A crew from Scarborough used bolt croppers to release a person from handcuffs.
