Incident Summary – Night Shift Monday 23rd November 2020

Market Place, Hawes
Time of call: 1945
Hawes attended an incident involving 1 sheet of roofing lead hanging in a precarious position from a hotel roof. Crews used a 13.5m ladder to remove the lead and gave advice to the owner.
Harmby Road, Leyburn
Time of call: 2146
Leyburn attended an automatic fire alarm at a commercial site. Crews gained access to the site and confirmed this was a false alarm due to a system fault.
Strensall, York
Time of call: 2200
Huntington attended an automatic fire alarm at a healthcare building. This was believed to be a false alarm due to an unknown cause.
Crossgates, Scarborough
Time of call: 2327
An appliances from Scarborough gained entry to a log cabin where an elderly male had fallen inside. Crews were able gain access using a lock removal tool and handed the casualty over to paramedics for a precautionary check over.
Skutterskelfe, Stokesley
Time of call: 02:16
Stokesely crew attended a smoke alarm activation at a commercial premises. This was a false alarm. The cause was unknown.
